These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to the Cotons website, located at www.cotons.ai/vet, and all associated sites linked to www.cotons.ai by CareSix. The website ("Site") is owned and operated by CareSix Inc. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please refrain from using the Site.
The use of the terms "we," "us," or "our" throughout these Terms refers to CareSix Inc., while the terms "you" or "user" refer to any individual accessing or using the Site.
Please note that these Terms may be updated or modified from time to time, without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for any changes. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of any amendments to the Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Service and Content

CareSix retains all rights, title, and interest in the graphical and statistical information presented on the website. This includes any copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights associated with the content.
Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to access and use the graphical and statistical information for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Any unauthorized use, reproduction, distribution, or modification of the content is strictly prohibited. Users are prohibited from engaging in any actions that may infringe upon CareSix's intellectual property rights or compromise the integrity of the graphical and statistical information. This includes reverse engineering, decompiling, or any attempt to extract the source code or underlying structure of the content.
 CareSix does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the graphical and statistical information provided on the website. The content is provided for informational purposes only and should not be considered as professional advice or a substitute for consultation with qualified veterinary professionals.
CareSix reserves the right to modify, update, or remove any graphical or statistical information on the website at any time without prior notice.


Limitation to Liability

To the extent permitted by law, CareSix shall not be liable to you for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, or punitive damages, including lost profits, even if CareSix has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
 Please note that some jurisdictions do not allow limitations of liability, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

  • Water Contact. Cotons Devices are equipped with IPX5. Refrain from water contact and use alcohol on fabric to remove any foreign matter. Please note that any issues arising from water contact on the product are not covered under the warranty as stated in sales policy. 
  • Pressure. It is important to ensure that Cotons Sense 1 or any other applicable products do not exert excessive pressure on the user or patient. CareSix recommends maintaining a two-finger space between the device and the neck. Please note that any issues or hazards arising from pressure or choking incidents are not protected and should be regulated by the veterinarian or caregiver. 
  • Swallowing of the product. Take precautions to ensure that device pieces are worn properly and, when not in use, not left near the patient or user where they may be accidently swallowed. Swallowing the product cna pose a choking risk, and it is the responsibility of the veterinarian or caregiver to closely monitor the patient. Please be aware that any issues arising from the lack of patient monitoring are not covered or protected. 
  • Internet Access. Granting continuous internet access to CareSix devices is essential to ensure proper push alarms and notifications.
  • Internet Connection. Establishing and maintaining internet connection is the responsibility of  the veterinarian, caregiver, or the buyer of the product. It is crucial to ensure a stable and reliable internet connection for proper functionality of CareSix devices. Any notifications missed or not sent due to issues with internet connectivity are not within the control or responsibility of CareSix. 
  • Battery. CareSix’s website and application provide information about the device’s battery percentage. Refer to the User Guide for the specifics on battery percentage. The veterinarian, caregiver, or buyer of the product is responsible for regularly checking the device’s battery life to receive timely notifications. Please note that any missed notifications, alarms, or alerts due to the lack of battery care or monitoring are not the responsibility of CareSix. 
  • Alert Settings. If the user chooses to turn off notifications and misses crucial notifications, this is not within the scope of what CareSix can cover.
  • Alert Range Settings. CareSix provides vets/caregivers with a default range. Heart Rate 60~180, Respiration Rage 15~50, SpO2 low 90 and Temperature 25~40. This range is to be checked consistently.

User Obligations

You acknowledge and understand that the accuracy and validity of the data provided on the website are reliant on the proper placement of the device on the patient. CareSix is not responsible for any inaccuracies, errors, or invalid data that may result from incorrect placement of the device on the patient.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the device used to interact with the website has continuous and reliable access to the internet. CareSix is not responsible for any issues or limitations in the data transmission that may occur due to a lack of internet connectivity.
You agree to comply with all the terms and conditions outlined in these Terms of Use, as well as any additional guidelines or policies provided by CareSix pertaining to the use of the website. You are required to use the website and its features in a lawful manner, adhering to all applicable laws, regulations, and third-party rights. You must refrain from engaging in any activities that may infringe upon the rights of others or violate any legal provisions.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account credentials. It is important that you do not share your account information with others or allow unauthorized access to your account.

Privacy

Your use of the Cotons Vet Website and Cotons ai Vet Application is subject to CareSix's Privacy Policy. By using this site, you acknowledge and agree that internet transmissions are never completely private or secure. You understand that any data or information you input on this Site may be read, accessed, or intercepted by others.

Terminations

Any violation of the terms of agreement outlined herein may result in the termination of the user's account. CareSix reserves the right to take appropriate actions to enforce compliance with the terms and protect the interests of the Cotons Vet website and its users.
1)  	Cotons ai Administrator ID
To ensure the integrity of the platform and provide access only to qualified veterinary professionals and authorized businesses, it is mandatory for the administrator ID of the hospital to upload a valid veterinary certificate or business license when creating a Cotons ai ID. An email confirmation will be sent to verify your account.
If it is found that your veterinary or business license does not match or is invalid in any way, we reserve the right to terminate your ID and suspend your usage of the Site.
Please ensure that the provided veterinary certificate or business license is accurate, up-to-date, and relevant to your hospital’s operations .For further assistance, you may contact our support team. However, the decision to reinstate access to the Cotons Website will be at the sole discretion of CareSix.
2) 	Disclosure of Information
In the event of a violation of the terms of agreement or interference with legal actions, CareSix may disclose relevant information, including personal identity, to comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, safety, or property of CareSix, its users, or the public.
3) 	Unlawful Practices and Animal Rights Violation
Any unlawful or unethical practices that violate animal rights are strictly prohibited on the Cotons Site. Engaging in such practices, including any experimental procedures without proper authorization or adherence to legal regulations, may lead to immediate termination and blockage of your usage of the Cotons Site.
 Please not that the termination and blockage of Site using may occur at CareSix’s discretion, taking into account the severity and nature of the violation. CareSix reserves the right to pursue further legal remedies if necessary. It is essential for users to review and understand the terms of agreement to ensure compliance and positive and lawful experience on the Cotons Website.

CareSix, with our best effort, ensures the accuracy and reliability of the information provided on the Site. However, we do not guarantee that the Site, its content, services, or features will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any defects will be corrected. We reserve the right to modify, update, or remove any information on the Site without prior notice.
While we take measures to ensure the security of the Site, CareSix cannot guarantee that any files or data you access or download from the Site will be free of viruses, contamination, or destructive features.
